PURI GLOBAL
Puri Global is an architecture company that connects technological innovation to vulnerable communities around the world.
We work today for future generations, providing regenerative models that endure over time and care for our planet. We use architecture as a method to enhance community resilience and prepare them for climate transition.
We are driven to promote transformative and inclusive public policies that aid in adapting to the climate crisis.
"PURI" means "Pure Water" in Kunza, the native language of the Atacama people, an Andean indigenous culture that lived under resource scarcity, with water being one of those resources. They developed techniques for its protection and care.
Puri Global is a socio-economic organisation of Scandinavian and Latin American origin, based in Copenhagen, with strong public-private partnerships operating in Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe.
It was founded by the architects Nina Louise Jensen and Jorge Lobos, of Danish and Chilean origins respectively.
Our objective is to develop applied research and academic methods in architecture, science, and sociology in the form of pilot projects, prototypes, and workshops that work towards transforming communities that inhabit extreme environments.
We are a consortium of diverse professional companies spanning engineering, architecture, social sciences, and art. We come together to collectively propose solutions to the planet's new challenges.
